KWS is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal. That is not a permissive licence with conditions attached; it is the waiver of copyright itself, as far as the law allows. There is no attribution requirement, no share-alike clause, no non-commercial restriction, no permission to request, and no one to ask.
Print it and sell it if that is how it reaches someone. Fork the text. Read it aloud and record it. Set it in another typeface. Translate it into a language it has never been in. Ship it inside your own software. None of that needs a licence key, because there is no lock.
Nothing on this page asks anything back. There is no donation button, no tip jar, no supporter tier, no mailing list, no sign-in. The word went out free; it stays free.

Each file below is the complete text: forty-three books, every chapter, every verse. Pick by what you intend to do with it, not by size.
verses/<book>.json holds a flat array of {id, chapter, verse, text}, keyed book.chapter.verse. With books.json, the version file and the hash file alongside.
Two further builds exist — the whole Bible as a single self-contained HTML page, and the same split into one HTML page per book. They are not listed above because the reader below does that job better in a browser. Both sit with everything else at kodeshway.com/kws.

Text this old deserves to be checkable. A canonical hash is taken over the verse text itself, so any copy of KWS v4.1.1 anywhere — this site, the app, a mirror, a fork — can be tested against it:
